SSA (a Federal govt. agency) contracts DDS (a State govt. agency) to do some of the work, because I guess they can't do all of it themselves. So that's probably why there are two different averages (for the same thing) that are more than two months apart. Since it's been more than 300 days so far, according to the federal govt. I'm above average, but by state govt. math I'm WAY above average. And since there are at least two government bodies involved in determinating me, it maybe means an average of 200 days is added to another average of 261 days. So that would make me below average. I'm gettin' better though! On average, 6 1/2 months equals 8 1/2 months. Our government says so!
